The Riverina and Murray take in the south-west of NSW, from Wagga Wagga, the region's largest city, to Albury on the Murray River, west through Narrandera and Leeton to Griffith, and south-west to Deniliquin. Most people drive to work, and distances between towns are long. Farm, food processing and transport jobs around Griffith, Leeton and Deniliquin involve early starts and highway driving, while Wagga Wagga's university, army and air force bases, and hospital draw workers from surrounding towns.
